Am I supposed to be this jealous when he talks to other girls?

Last night there was a dance at my friend's church and the guy I like was there. At this dance, it's normal to ask a bunch of people to dance with you. I'm pretty sure my crush still likes me, but he didn't dance with me. He danced with my best friend and some other girls he kinda knew that were prettier than me. They wore girly clothes and I just wore a t-shirt. We go to different schools this year, so this is about he only time I've seen him in the past year. He was flirting wih me and he thinks I'm really funny, but he only wanted to dance with the pretty girls that he knew from church. He even danced with the girl he hates. He kind of tried to ask me to dance, but my friends were around and he got scared. He put his arm around me twice, but he acted like he was kidding. Despite all this stuff, I have this red hot jealously towards all the other girls. Is that normal?
