What is the best way to keep the house front entrance clear of webs and the homes of other insects?

I think you can get a thing to hang up that will repel the insects, hang it in the corner or something. The webs I'm not sure. Try spraying a bug repellant on the sides of the house after you've cleaned all the webs off? Try going to home depot.
