You should definitely tell your parents and stop worrying. The text messages that you are getting might well be scams and it might be that they cost you money if you ring the numbers to argue your point. I'm sure that your parents will be able to reure you and, should the worse happen and the police become involved (which I absolutely doubt!) then they will be able to help clear the matter up quickly. If you haven't sent the text messages then these nasty people would have to prove you did which they won't be able to do.
