Parents.... if nothing is mandated, enforceable, or worst-case scenario, convenient?

Some people will think I'm from the moon with this answer...and that's ok. God instituted the marriage arrangement. He specified that ual relations should only happen within marriage. If we were to obey this, then your question would not be relevant. God has let us prove over and over again how inept we are at making our own decisions. When we try to live by our own standards, things like this occur...and I fully believe that a problem such as this one will not be solved without God's direction. He is going to make things right in his due time, and until then, we will be trying to solve these problems on our own.
